Bereavement Support

The grief of losing a pet is very real, and and can begin even before they are actually gone. The sadness can be profound. Our animal companions are such important parts of our families and daily routines, their absence can leave us with a feeling of loneliness that is hard to escape. Trying to navigate this grief, and support children and other pets through it as well can become overwhelming.

Knowing what to expect can help. So can finding ways to memorialize your pet and celebrate the life they shared with you. If you need someone to talk to who knows what you are going through, there are support groups and pet bereavement counsellors who can help.

Help to Cope with the Loss of a Pet

They are not 'Just A Pet'. And when you're grieving their loss, you need the support of someone who really understands that.

That's why we are so proud to partner with Louise from Light After Loss, who specialises in helping people going through pet bereavement. Light After Loss offers a range of online options including one-to-one sessions, group support programs, workshops, podcasts, and free resources, to help give you the support you need in the way that is most comfortable for you.
